The International Association of Language Centres (IALC) Workshop kicked off in Cardiff with a vibrant blend of professional insights and cultural exploration. Held at the Parkgate Hotel, delegates from around the globe gathered for a day of learning, networking, and immersion in the rich history of Wales.

The day began with delegate registration, a bustling affair as participants checked in and exchanged greetings with familiar faces and new acquaintances. Throughout the day, the Parkgate Hotel served as a hub of activity, buzzing with anticipation for the upcoming seminars and workshops.

From 13:30 to 17:00, attendees delved into a series of enlightening seminars featuring industry professionals sharing their expertise. Topics ranged from innovative teaching methodologies to effective marketing strategies for education providers and agencies. Among the highlights was a session by Schools & Agents, offering valuable insights into digital marketing tools and strategies tailored specifically for agents. Snippets of the talk were shared on our social media channels, sparking conversations and generating excitement among workshop participants. In the coming days and weeks we'll also continue to share insights on these digital marketing tools, inspired by the interesting conversation that took place in the seminar hall.

As the afternoon unfolded, delegates were presented with an optional excursion to Cardiff Bay, a historic waterfront area steeped in maritime heritage. Once a bustling tidal dockland, Cardiff Bay has transformed into a vibrant leisure destination, boasting picturesque views of a freshwater lake and an array of entertainment options. The coach trip provided attendees with a firsthand glimpse into the cultural renaissance of this iconic locale, offering a moment of relaxation amidst the bustling workshop schedule.

The evening culminated in a grand welcome reception at Cardiff Castle, a testament to Wales' rich historical legacy.
